How to make Belgian fries?
Rinse the peeled potatoes and cut them into strips about 1 cm wide.
Meanwhile, boil water with a tablespoon of sugar. Into the boiling water we put the cut potatoes for 5 minutes, then drain them and dry them on a cloth.
In a deep fryer, we heat the oil to 160 degrees C.
We throw in a portion of the potatoes and fry until they float to the surface. Remove to paper towels and drain the fat.
Increase the temperature to 180 degrees C, drop the drained fries in again and fry until golden.
Remove to paper towels and drain them of excess fat. Serve sprinkled with sea salt and topped with your favorite sauce.
Belgian fries prepared in this way have a low price, and besides, they are very tasty and perfect as a snack during a movie screening.
