Delphi is an interesting mountain city and a site with remarkable ancient ruins. It is located on the southwest ridge of Mount Parnassus in the Phocis Valley. It is about 2.5 hours away from Athens. After the Acropolis located in the capital, Delphi is the most popular archaeological site in Greece. They were once a special place of reverence among the ancient inhabitants, who came to this sacred site to ask for advice from the oracle.
The region and at the same time the Peloponnese peninsula is the true heart of Greek ancient culture and a place full of beautiful cities and sights. It allows you to completely immerse yourself in the charms and atmospheres of Greece and at times transport you to distant times. The Peloponnese peninsula, resembling a large leaf in shape, was traditionally called Morea, which means mulberry leaf. It is located south of Athens, and can be reached, among other things, by the impressive Rio-Antirrio Bridge.
