Danish smørrebrød sandwiches with smoked salmon recipe
Ingredients for 2 servings
115g sour cream or English sour cream
1 tsp grated horseradish
1 teaspoon chopped fresh chives
1 teaspoon chopped celery parsley
1 teaspoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons of green cucumber, peeled, diced
A pinch of salt
A pinch of freshly ground pepper
4 slices of Danish rye bread or pumpernickel bread
2 teaspoons soft classic butter
225g smoked salmon sliced
3 radishes cut into thin slices
2 teaspoons of salmon roe
Handful of chives
4 slices of grilled lime
How to make traditional Danish smørrebrød sandwiches with smoked salmon?
In a small bowl, mix sour cream, horseradish, chopped chives, chopped parsley and lemon juice. Add the diced cucumber. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Take rye bread, spread with a small amount of butter Classic butter and cream sauce. Arrange smoked salmon, radish and roe on top. Garnish with capers and chives. Before serving, season again with salt and pepper. Serve each serving with a slice of lime.
